Globe Underwriting continues to expand engineering portfolio with senior hire
Globe Underwriting, the UK based managing general agent, today announced the appointment of Dan Watson as Senior Engineering Underwriter with immediate effect.
Watson brings more than 15 years of extensive industry experience to Globe; for 11 of those, he specialised in engineering underwriting with roles at Pioneer from 2017 to 2019 and RSA from 2004 to 2016.
Watson’s hire follows the launch of Globe’s engineering portfolio, which focuses on construction and operational power business. The firm also recently appointed well known industry veteran Peter Rossell as Head of Engineering.
Rossell said, “We are building an exceptional engineering offering and Dan’s hire demonstrates our strategic ambition in this area. His expertise in the engineering underwriting field, as well as his key industry contacts and insights, bolster our ability to provide exactly the services our clients need.
